Connecting Kalshi

Kalshi is available to all US users and is fully CFTC-regulated. It's the recommended platform for most users.

Step-by-step: Generate your Kalshi API key

  Log in to Kalshi

  Go to kalshi.com and sign in to your account.

  Open Account Settings

  Click your profile icon (top right) → Settings → API tab.

  Create a new API key

  Click Create API Key. Give it a label like "KalshiEdge Bot" so you can identify it later.

  Set permissions

  Enable Trading permissions only. You do not need to grant withdrawal or account management access.

  Copy your API key and secret

  Save both — the secret is only shown once. Store it somewhere secure before proceeding.

  Paste into KalshiEdge dashboard

  Go to your KalshiEdge dashboard → Connect Account → select Kalshi → paste your key and secret → click Connect.

  Verify connection

  The dashboard will show a green "Connected" status and display your current Kalshi balance. You're live.

What KalshiEdge can and can't do

When you connect via API, access is strictly limited to trading operations in your account.

Revoking access

You can disconnect KalshiEdge at any time — from either side:

  From KalshiEdge dashboard

  Go to Settings → Connected Accounts → click Disconnect. The bot stops immediately.

  From your trading platform

  Log in to Kalshi → go to API settings → delete the key labeled "KalshiEdge Bot". This instantly invalidates the key.
